Joseph Taylor, or JoeT7247 as ESPN.com members may know him, fulfilled every user's bracket dream and won the 2009 version of ESPN.com's Tournament Challenge, along with the $10,000 grand prize.

The New Jersey native had only five total losses in his winning bracket. Some of his notable "upset picks" were Western Kentucky over Illinois, Wisconsin over Florida State, Dayton over West Virginia and Cleveland State over Wake Forest. Taylor also had a perfect South bracket and didn't lose a matchup from the Elite Eight on.

When it came to strategy, Taylor had a set plan for his picks. "My strategy was to pick three to five upsets that seem to happen every year. My lock team was North Carolina, and I had a few upsets in mind. I actually picked Cleveland State because of Woody Paige on 'Around the Horn,'" said Taylor.

Taylor has been a longtime fan of Tournament Challenge, playing in the event since it first was introduced to ESPN.com users in 1999, but has never come close to winning like he did this year. When he is not playing "bracketologist" he works as a facility service and ground supervisor for Schering-Plough Corporation.

As a big North Carolina basketball fan, it was easy to pick his champion, but he wanted to make sure he had a few picks that would separate his from the pack.

"I had the easiest time with the South because UNC was in that region, but the rest I tried to pick based on how teams matched up one-on-one. I also picked teams that played well during the regular season and had a good emotional factor coming into the tournament, hence my Michigan State pick," Taylor added.

The most nerve-racking matchup of the tournament for Taylor was the Final Four matchup between Michigan State and UConn.

"I was confident in Carolina going all the way, but without that Michigan State win, I knew I had no chance," said Taylor.

Taylor became a North Carolina basketball fan because most of his family resides in the Tar Heel state. A few of his cousins graduated from UNC. He also wanted to attend but chose to go to Essex County College because of its proximity to his home in New Jersey.

A trip to Las Vegas has already been booked because of the $10,000 that is coming his way. Taylor also is planning a trip to Hawaii in October and will save the rest for a rainy day.

When it comes to watching sports, he always makes time to watch the NFL as well as college basketball. Taylor is also an avid "SportsCenter" and "Around the Horn" fan, and his favorite fantasy game is Streak for the Cash.

Taylor would like to thank everyone who wished him luck throughout the challenge and left him positive comments on his ESPN.com profile. To those who are upset they lost to Taylor, he wants to say, "There is always next year."
